Brentleigh Homestead is a farmstay/fishing
retreat on the banks of the Mataura River, famous for its brown
trout.
Hosts Brian and Mary
farm 376 hectares of crop, sheep, cattle and deer. We enjoy sharing
our lifestyle with guests from all over the world and have done so
for 16 years.
Our guest
accommodation is two large rooms separate from the main house and
one room in the homestead. We have a large relaxing country
garden with over 1000 paeonies which flower in
November/December.
Brentleigh
is ideally situated in Northern Southland being less than 30 minutes
driving from 10 excellent fishing rivers. 1hour from Te Anau, 1 1/2
Queenstown, 1 to Invercargill .
