                            extra adults $25 and children $15

Four stylishly new and  spacious chalets with stunning lake views in a scenic and tranquil wonderland. Each private chalet is well equipped for self catering, has quality  linen and furnishings,  is fully carpeted, with CD player, TV and DVD with selection of recent movies and  and will sleep up to five in same group. We are located just an hour from New Plymouth and half hour from Stratford.
 
 The Kahu (hawk) and Kereru (woodpigeon) chalets are two level with two bedrooms and the cedar log cabin style Makomako (bellbird) and Ruru (morepork) are single level, have a log fire, also with two bedrooms and are more suitable for children. Freshly baked hot croissants are delivered to your chalet each morning.
 
 Rustic wilderness cabin and houseboating are also available.
 
 Enjoy  kayaking (complimentary) and  hiking before a soak in the spa pool, beautiful gardens, tame and exotic farm animals, abundant birdlife and all accompanied by convivial hosts. We also offer clay bird shooting, night shooting for possums (these are considered pests) and powerboating. Lake Rotorangi is the longest man made lake in New Zealand (46kms) and meanders through pristine native bush and is home to many rare birds.
