The Drovers Cottage got it's name from its
previous owners and builder. It was built about 100 years ago by a sheep
drover who's family still live in the region.
Drovers is a pretty cottage, set in front
of an olive grove, walking distance from Havelock North, a 5 minute drive
from Hastings and a 15-20 minute drive from Napier.
The cottage is set as a totally self catering
cottage with spa bath, dishwasher, microwave, auto washing machine, TV
with Sky digital, stereo, fax telephone, independent P.C line and barbecue.
We are within easy distance of some of New
Zealand's finest wineries and some excellent trout fishing rivers.
The Napier area is classed as the Art Deco
City of the world and this area is also known as the fruit bowl of New
Zealand (strawberries are grown across the road from the cottage).
