Raratu Lodge is a fully self
contained and
self catering cottage set on a spur of Mt. Kahuranaki which overlooks
the
beautiful Tuki Tuki River with magnificent views of Te Mata Peak - "The
Sleeping Giant". There is an abundance of pheasant and other wildlife
with
a reserve running 8kms along the Tuki Tuki River where some of the best
trout fishing in NZ is found. The cottage has boundaries of a pine
plantation
and olive grove.
There are 2 bedrooms,
kitchen,dining/lounge
area and separate bathroom. A private verandah opens out onto the vast
lawn where you can dine "al fresco". We are only 15kms from Havelock
North,
and there are many superb wineries close by. There are also a number of
fine restaurants that offer a wide range of cuisine.
