"Te Popo" (lullaby) is a special place - incredibly beautiful, tranquil and very private - nestled in Taranaki's lush countryside. 
The woodland garden was developed in a natural style around the low-lying house. With its medieval air the house has a distinctive character and style - comfortable, private and peaceful, a great country retreat. The guest wing houses three beautifully appointed suites overlooking the garden, with private entrances and ensuites. Two have cosy, wood burning fires. 
Breakfast is provided in the sun-filled conservatory. Dinner is available by arrangement. 
The garden has something to show at all times of the year. Surrounded by deep river gorges and pristine native bush, this 34 acre property provides much to explore.
