 "Interesting places to visit in our area are Cobblestones Village Museum in Greytown, the Waiohine  Gorge Road, Morisons Bush river site, the remnant of uncut bush in the Greytown Park, the heritage  trail in Greytown.  WILD THING (Brett Lidington) Offers fishing charters from Uriti Bay (just south of Riversdale)
 RIVERSDALE STORE offers great coffee, takeaways and all your hoiliday supplies.

   MASTERTON
     Henley Lake -   a large well planted wetland area that contains a variety of wildlife.  A wonderful 
     relaxing place with a variety of walks.   The lake hosts many events such as dragon boating, Guy 
     Fawkes fire works display, annual balloon festivals splash and dash, windsurfing, model boating, sail
     boating, rafting, fishing, rowing and canoeing. 

    The Shear Discovery Center - an original woolshed, shows off everything about wool and it's heritage
    in New Zealand. 

    The "Golen Shears" - a very exciting event on the the Shearing competetion calendar that is held
    every March. 

   MARTINBOROUGH
    Martinborough has fast become a world renowned area for the wines its produces.  There are many 
    tours around the numerous vineyards here.  'Toast Martinborough' is a festival that brings all the 
    vineyards together and a good time is had by all
 

   Stonehenge Aoteroa - is a working example of how astrology was very important to early people 
   and their navigation.  Bookings can be arranged for tours.

   Mount Bruce Wildlife Centre- a showcase of our bush and wildlife and has many breeding programmes
   to help save our more endangered species.  A special place to hear and see how our bush once was.

   Other places of interest are Mount Holdsworth, Ngawi, Paua Shell Factory and Shop, Papawai Marae,
